Theresien Child and Youth Welfare Services and St. Josephshaus e.V.

About us/ What we stand for as a diverse company
For us, diversity is not just a buzzword, but an integral part of our daily work. In youth welfare in particular, we encounter very different lifestyles, biographies, and needs—among children, young people, and families as well as within our team.
We are convinced that different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger and enrich our work. We therefore see diversity as a real factor for success. Our goal is to create a place to work and live where everyone feels seen, respected, and welcome—and where people enjoy working, contributing, and developing themselves further.
The Rainbow Career Services are important to us because...
... we want to consciously develop as an institution. For us, diversity is an ongoing process, not a finished state. We see Rainbow Career Services as a great opportunity to further refine our existing attitude, take on new ideas, and become even more diverse and open. For us, it's not about public image, but about real change and support in everyday working life.
We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:
We actively promote diversity. A Diversity Working Group meets regularly to bring together topics, ideas, and suggestions from the team and drive developments forward. In addition, we conduct employee surveys to take feedback, needs, and perspectives seriously.
We are currently developing guidelines for gender-neutral language so that we can also act in a linguistically sensitive and appreciative manner. By signing the Diversity Charter, we have clearly reaffirmed our self-image both externally and internally.
In addition, we regularly inform our employees by email about current topics, developments, and ideas relating to diversity. Our newsletter also continuously addresses various diversity topics and keeps the issue present in everyday working life.
