About us/ What we stand for as a diverse company

As the fastest growing international tobacco company in Germany, we stand for quality and innovation. We currently have 2,200 employees at our two sites in Cologne (administration) and Trier (production and research) - making us the largest employer in the industry in Germany. Our parent company is the globally active Japan Tobacco International, based in Geneva. Our company owns some of the best-known brands in the world, including Winston, the second-largest cigarette brand. Other important brands are American Spirit and Camel. In addition, our portfolio combines the rich heritage of traditional tobacco with the latest technical and scientific innovations in reduced-risk products.
