Locomotive Engineer (m/f/d) Southern Germany
This is what we stand for as a diverse company
ÖBB is diverse, and diversity is important to the ÖBB Group. Companies that promote diversity are interesting employers. Companies that promote diversity bring diverse skills to their teams. No two people are alike, and that's a good thing because diversity offers all of us more opportunities, more skills, and knowledge. Equal opportunities must therefore be a matter of course – not just in society, but also in the workplace. In 2011, ÖBB committed to an equal treatment policy that ensures the same opportunities for all our employees.
Contact with the queer community is important to us because...
… because it promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It is an opportunity for us to show our support for the LGBTIAQ+ community and to create a work environment that welcomes all employees, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We are looking for career changers who want to shape the future with us.
We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:
Sexual orientation is not a disqualifier!
Although it's a private matter, sexual orientation has social consequences in a heteronormative culture. This also applies to the workplace.
Since 2012, ÖBB has participated in the Rainbow Parade and is a member of the Austrian LGBTIQ+ network Pride Biz Austria. With the internal Rainbow Network ("QBB"), we offer a networking opportunity for all LGBTQIA+ colleagues as well as their friends and supporters. In addition to regular events, workshops, and information sessions, we also organize joint activities. Because we are convinced that diversity is our strength and that we can learn from each other.
