Mobility Planning Engineer (m/f/d)

The position

You undertake the planning work across the multimodal spectrum of mobility – from road traffic routes to pedestrian and cycling paths, as well as all public transport concepts and infrastructures
You contribute to multidisciplinary mobility and redesign concepts for public street spaces and revitalization concepts for town centers (in active exchange with landscape architects, architects, and urban planners)
You design mobility concepts at the municipal and / or regional level
You are responsible for developing concepts to improve road safety, taking into account the needs of all road users.
You are part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute your share to the development of multimodal and integrative projects
You create quotes and manage clients during the execution of projects

Your profile

You have a completed university degree in civil engineering (with a focus on mobility) or in spatial planning / urban development (Bachelor's / Master's)
You develop concepts for accessibility and inclusion in public spaces, taking into account both the needs of people with reduced mobility and aspects of sensory and cognitive perception of the urban environment.
You have appropriate program/software skills
You possess the ability to solve problems independently and self-organize.
You are communicative and enjoy working in a team
You are proficient in both French and German (spoken and written)
You handle the Luxembourgish language
You are familiar with the Luxembourgish context as well as the subject-specific regulations and rules.
