Working Student (m/f/d) – Taxes

Our "Corporate Tax" department is responsible within United Internet for the ongoing tax support of domestic and foreign group companies and for advising on projects related to tax matters. Gain practical insights into the diverse tasks of our Tax team and support your colleagues in the Tax department with the ongoing tax support of our subsidiaries.

Your tasks will include, depending on your experience, in particular:
- You will support colleagues with diverse national and international tax projects – from tax law changes to reorganizations.
You will support the answering of tax law questions in corporate tax law, particularly through literature and legal research.
- You compile data for tax calculations, operational audits, and transfer pricing documentation, and prepare relevant documents.
- You assist with the preparation of income tax returns.
- You review tax assessments and assist with their administrative recording.
- You will be involved in the optimization and digitalization of tax processes.

You are studying Business Administration, Law, Business Law, or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on Finance or Taxation. You want to gain practical experience in a tax consultancy or tax department and are eager to engage with tax matters in the context of the digital economy and telecommunications for 8 to 20 hours per week during the semester. Additionally, you possess the following qualities: - You are proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel. PowerPoint skills are an advantage. - You work in a structured, committed, responsible, diligent, and independent manner. - You have excellent German and good English language skills.
