Rainbow Career Day Hamburg
As a port city, openness has long been in Hamburg's DNA.
The diversity of queer offerings and events is spread throughout the entire city of Hamburg. Since 2024, new formats have been added to the themes:
The Rainbow Career Day! It's coming back to the Hansestadt.
The second edition of Rainbow Career Day Hamburg will be on December 2nd from 10 AM - 4 PM in direct cooperation with KLU Hamburg to take place, right on the Campus!
The participating companies 2025 Here, employers introduce themselves and explain why they understand diversity in the company as an essential part of their corporate culture and are very keen to engage in conversation with interested visitors from the queer community (and anyone for whom diversity is important).
Conversely, everyone who attends the Rainbow Career Day learns how authentic a company is and whether their own personality aligns with that company. This is regardless of industry or general field of expertise!
The Rainbow Career Day Hamburg will be expanded with a supporting program that invites exchange, dialogue, getting to know each other, and networking, even beyond career talks.

Prof. Dr. Brooke A. Gazdag (She/Her), Professor and Academic Director for Exec Ed @ KLU will – along with Sebastian Krug, initiator of Rainbow-Career-Service and managing director of Rainbow-Day GmbH – open the colorful Hamburg event at 10:00 AM with a personal greeting to all participants.

10:30 AM – 4:00 PM: Full-day CV check and consultation at the booth of the University Team of the Hamburg Employment Agency
2:45 PM - 3:30 PM: Panel: „Belonging at Work: How to Be and How to Choose an Inclusive Employer“
