A&O Shearman is deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), and this topic is a top priority for the firm's management. We place great importance on strategic projects and partnerships, not just to do a lot, but to genuinely improve. Our external strategic collaborations include, among others, an initiative that supports and promotes first-generation university students in their legal studies through events, workshops, and mentoring. Another partnership aims to support the BIPOC community through training, fairs, and communication. We are also passionate about fostering aspiring female lawyers, which is why we offer special programs for them. Furthermore, we offer scholarships to support talented students. Internally, we offer several diversity programs. These include, for example, networking events or special training for female talent. Additionally, we have Diversity Partners and a Diversity Committee who are continuously committed to this cause.
