The law firm has set global goals in the LGBTIQ+ area: a partner representation rate of 3 % by 2025. For over six years, we have held a dedicated DEI Manager position, who chairs our DEI Committee and strategically advances the issue as a staff function reporting to German management, linking it to the firm’s global campaigns. Our initiatives are implemented, among other things, through our five employee networks focused on gender parity, queer issues, ethnicity/nationality/social background, disability, and parenthood. We have been a PROUT EMPLOYER for many years, a member of the Diversity Charter and the UnternehmensForum, and we collaborate with TENT—an organization that strives to integrate people with refugee backgrounds from the LGBT*IQ community into the German labor market through a mentoring program. In addition, we have been setting an example worldwide for over 18 years with our Arcus Pride Art exhibition, which features artwork by LGBT*IQ artists. Our award-winning reverse mentoring program enables our leaders in the areas of gender, queer, disability, and ethnicity/nationality/social background to shift their perspective and raise awareness of different life realities.
