The Charter of Rights is the guiding principle for our daily work. It goes without saying that we can only live up to this in an environment if the people working here can treat each other with respect and appreciation. Our world is colorful and that's a good thing, which is why we signed the Diversity Charter a few years ago and have been taking part in the CSD in Cologne since 2019.

We seekers want to show that we stand up for human rights and that we want to live and enable this in a good coexistence, we have a clear stance. We don't want to put on a show for the outside world; living normality in our colorful world is important to us.

In our small social world at Rosenpark in Cologne, we stand up for each other: - we have a large number of employees from the community - currently have around 38 different countries of origin - a high proportion of people with disabilities - are networked in the various committees - support each other in everyday life, with authorities and arriving in Cologne - but above all, we try to accept each other as we are - mistakes in our approach are human and happen, despite our good intentions. It is important for us to learn from them.
