Kreisjugendring Munich-City

About us/ What we stand for as a diverse company

Commitment to children, young people and young adults is our mission. As a working group of Munich's youth associations and as a provider of leisure facilities and daycare centers throughout the city, we are aware of the concerns, interests and needs of young people and make them heard. We promote equal opportunities for all employees so that our organization reflects the diversity of society. In line with our vision and guidelines, we expect all applicants to share this attitude. We welcome all applications, regardless of gender, nationality, social and ethnic origin, religion/belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. The KJR has been a signatory to the Diversity Charter since 2007.

The Rainbow Career Services are important to us because...

The KJR's self-image is: "Our diversity is our strength". Accordingly, our organization should reflect the diversity of society.

We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:

- Strategic organizational goal: "Munich is diversity" - Employee survey on the topic of diversity - LGBTIQA* work aids for pedagogical work in the various areas of work as well as pedagogical specialist units with an LGBTIQA* focus - "Open to all" certification for many institutions - Guidelines for gender-equitable and gender-sensitive language - Implementation of diversity topics in management development for new managers, the management conference and welcoming new employees - AGG complaints office - Participation as a sponsor in activities for diversity, against racism, anti-Semitism and other forms of group-related misanthropy
