Application Manager (m/f/d) – ECM – Temporary

Our ECM team sees itself as the central interface between legal departments and the technical implementation within the company. We actively drive the digitalization of relevant business processes and develop innovative solutions in the Enterprise Content Management System.
Your responsibilities include:
You are the link between the technical capabilities of the ECM system and the specific requirements of the business departments, and you act as a central translator between the business units and IT, transforming business requirements into actionable technical concepts.
- You design and optimize subject-specific processes in the ECM system, particularly in legal application areas such as Contract Management, Legal Entity Management, as well as Tax and Controlling.
You will manage and develop the ECM systems, including customizing, authorization management, monitoring, release management, and incident management. In doing so, you will also identify meaningful applications of AI in the ECM and document management environment.
- You will support business units and group companies in the integration and use of ECM systems and create technical and functional concepts (e.g., process designs, use cases, role and authorization concepts).
You advise stakeholders from legal and related professional fields on all ECM topics.
- You conduct general and specialized training, and are responsible for the operation and further development of ECM systems, including customizing, authorizations, monitoring, release, and incident management.
- You support digitalization in areas such as Corporate Governance, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Risk Management.

Desired Additional Qualifications

You have a completed university degree in Economics, IT, Information Management, or a comparable qualification, and possess several years of professional experience in the ECM environment. In addition, you bring: - You have in-depth experience in project planning and management, as well as a strong understanding of complex IT landscapes and ECM systems. - Ideally, you have initial experience in prompt engineering, with Microsoft Copilot, SAP Build Work Zone, or comparable technologies. - You are characterized by very good analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a quick grasp of new topics. - You possess in-depth IT knowledge, particularly in BPMN, a fundamental understanding of SQL, and are proficient in using Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and ideally Power Apps. - You work independently and in a structured manner, prioritize tasks with a clear focus, and have a proactive mindset as an enabler. - You impress with your strong communication skills, confident presentation abilities, and assured demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders. - You have very good German language skills (C2) as well as good English language skills (min. B2), both written and spoken.
