Are you a dedicated professional with solid experience in finance who wants to help manage the monthly closing process and actively contribute to the further development of our reporting and planning environment based on IBM Planning Analytics (TM1 / Planning Analytics Workspace)? Your responsibilities will include:
- You will assist in executing and managing the monthly closing process in IBM TM1—from closing generation and data loads to technical and content approval.
- You will be responsible for loading and reconciling exchange rates, billing revenue, deferred revenue, as well as consolidation and IFRS 16 effects.
- You will work on EBITDA adjustments and IFRS 15/16 effects in TM1.
- You will contribute to planning and forecasting processes, including scheduling, quality checks, and the preparation of management reports.
- You will post consolidation and IFRS 16 effects as part of planning and forecasting.
- You will prepare ad hoc analyses, including for the audit (PwC).
- You will cover for colleagues in the Controlling team.
- You will actively contribute to the further development and optimization of our IBM Planning Analytics Workspace environment (latest version).
- You will participate in projects aimed at improving reports, data models, and processes.

Desired additional qualifications

You have successfully completed your degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field and have several years of experience in Controlling, Financial Reporting, or a similar role. In addition, you bring the following: - You have basic knowledge of SAP (e.g., SAP FI/CO). - Ideally, you have knowledge of IBM TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics, and experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) in the current version 3.1 is desirable. - You have preferably already gained experience working with IFRS standards (particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16) in a reporting context. - You have a solid understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow relationships, as well as HGB and IFRS accounting. - You demonstrate excellent Microsoft Excel skills. - You are characterized by a structured, independent work style with high standards for quality. - You possess strong communication skills and are confident in interacting with stakeholders from business units and Group Accounting. - You stand out for your analytical thinking and your motivation to actively help shape processes.
