Intern, Corporate & Network Sector Coverage – Wholesale Banking (open to all genders)

Beyond traditional corporate financing, we advise large corporations with a strong presence in the capital markets—including their subsidiaries—on strategic issues. We do this by providing tailored, sustainable financing solutions across our product lines in Financial Markets, Transaction Services, and Capital Markets—with a startup mindset and a commitment to always staying one step ahead. Apply now to ING Wholesale Banking, one of the fastest-growing corporate banking institutions in Germany, and kickstart your career with us through an internship!

Your Responsibilities
- Are you interested in financing and the “daily banking needs” of subsidiaries of major international corporations? Do you have an affinity for cross-border and cross-product collaboration? Then ING Wholesale Banking is the perfect fit for you.
- Whether it’s hedging market risks, developing tailored financing and cash management solutions, or coordinating with the respective Virtual Client Teams—you’ll actively support our Relationship Managers in all tasks related to our corporate clients.
- Of course, you’ll always keep an eye on efficient processes and meaningful support through AI.
- You’ll also collect and analyze relevant client and sector information, help us identify potential new clients, and work with us to craft the right approach.
- And your presentations provide us with important insights, as do the industry and market data you prepare.
- You learn something new every day, for example, when you assess the opportunities and risks of potential customers for the Know-Your-Customer process or assist with day-to-day business (e.g., financing inquiries).
Successful and goal-oriented communication with various stakeholders is your forte, even on an international level: You coordinate successful collaboration with experts in other countries within the international ING network.

This is what we stand for as a diverse company

At ING, we are colorful and diverse: different personalities with different perspectives - in an international culture in which we value each other. We wear sneakers and pumps, hoodies and suits. Because people don't fit into boxes.

Contact with the queer community is important to us because...

We are passionate about diversity, initiative, teamwork and innovation. People with a wide variety of backgrounds, experiences and lifestyles work together at our company. This makes us colorful and successful. We live this diversity!

We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:

Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging are at the heart of everything we do and what we stand for. We believe that with this focus we can not only attract and retain the best employees, but together we will achieve the best. By creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture where everyone can be who they are, everyone can reach their full potential. Numerous networks at ING are also committed to this and shape our corporate culture - through events, workshops and sponsorships. Each network is supported by a sponsor from top management - with time, budget and active support. Incidentally, we are a founding member of the Workplace Pride organization from the Netherlands: We have been listed in their annual benchmark since 2014 and even reached ambassador level in June 2024. We have developed inclusive policies at several locations and created space for the LGBTQI+ community.
