Magnus Hirschfeld Centrum – Beratung & Kommunikation gUG (limited liability) is the nonprofit subsidiary of Magnus-Hirschfeld-Centrum e.V..
Our work promotes diversity and acceptance. We offer confidential and free counseling for LGBTIQ* individuals who need help in difficult life situations. Contact with the queer community is important to us because...
Rainbow Career Services are important to us because they create essential spaces for visibility, support, and empowerment. As a queer organization in Hamburg, we are actively committed to ensuring that LGBTQIA+ people have equal opportunities in the job market and can feel safe and valued in their professional environments. Through targeted programs, we not only support individual career paths but also contribute to an open, diverse, and inclusive society. We view diversity as a strength—for each individual and for our community as a whole.
We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:
We consciously create safe spaces where queer identities can be visible and lived out. This includes a corporate culture that is sensitive to discrimination, a clear stance against all forms of exclusion, and the active promotion of diversity within our team. We use inclusive language, take different life realities into account in our offerings and structures, and continuously engage with diversity competence. Through networking, counseling, and empowering initiatives, we strengthen our community and help ensure that diversity is not only recognized but actively valued.
