Legal Privacy Manager (m/f/d) – temporary

As part of United Internet's group data protection organization, you will provide operational advice to central service units and holding companies on the implementation of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. In doing so, you will operate within a complex corporate environment involving a large number of companies and contacts.

The following tasks await you:
- You analyze and evaluate cross-company data flows and identify the resulting data protection risks.
- You provide comprehensive, solution-oriented advice to specialist and business departments on data protection issues and support them in implementing regulatory requirements.
- You will support the introduction of new software solutions, projects, and processes from a data protection perspective and develop practical solutions.
- You advise on the drafting and negotiation of data protection-relevant contracts with external service providers.
- You create data protection opinions, concepts, standards, and best practices.
- You conduct data protection controls and audits independently.
- You will handle the operational processing of data protection incidents and data subject requests.

After completing your degree in a legal or technical field, you have already gained several years of experience in areas related to data protection (ideally in corporate data protection). Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of German and European data protection law, you will assess business processes for existing data protection risks and present legal information in a clear and understandable manner. In addition, you stand out for the following: - You have a strong understanding of business contexts, are confident and proficient in using legal databases, and have an affinity for digital technologies. - You are known for your proactive and independent work style. - You impress with your professional communication skills and composure, even in complex and time-sensitive situations. - You have business-level proficiency in German. - You will support us as a parental leave replacement, either part-time (50%) or full-time (100%).
