A&O Shearman is fully committed to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I) and this issue is a top priority for the firm's management. We place great emphasis on strategic projects and partnerships to not only get things done, but to seriously move forward. Our external strategic collaborations include an initiative that supports and encourages first-year law students through events, workshops and mentoring. Another partnership aims to support the BIPOC community through training, trade fairs and communication. The promotion of prospective female lawyers is also important to us, which is why we offer special programs for them. In addition, we offer scholarships to support talented students. Internally, we offer several diversity programs. These include, for example, networking events and special training sessions for female talent. We also have Diversity Partners and a Diversity Committee that provide continuous support.
