About Us/ What We Stand For As a Diverse Company
As a law firm in Germany, we are actively committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities. Since signing the Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter) in 2012, our daily endeavor has been to create a work environment characterized by tolerance and mutual appreciation. We foster a sense of togetherness among people of different nationalities, genders, ethnic and religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Our internal network, Pride@CMS, launched in 2022, provides all team members with a platform for exchange on LGBTQIA+ topics and supports an inclusive work environment. Through regular training and partnerships with organizations such as ALICE, the LGBTQIA+ career network for lawyers, we underscore our commitment to diversity and equal opportunities. At CMS Germany, we are convinced that diversity is our strength and significantly contributes to our success.
Rainbow Career Services are important to us because…
...we want to create a work environment where all people feel welcome and valued, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Diversity strengthens our team, brings new perspectives, and promotes an open company culture.
Through Rainbow Career Services, we can specifically reach talented individuals seeking an inclusive and equitable work environment. It is important to us to set visible examples for greater equality in the workplace and to actively support exchange within the community.
We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:
At CMS in Germany, we implement diversity not just as a value, but as a lived practice. We have implemented targeted measures to create an inclusive work environment and actively promote equal opportunities.
This includes internal training on unconscious biases, flexible working models that consider individual life realities, and measures with which we actively promote dialogue within underrepresented groups. We support employees with networks and contact points that strengthen the exchange and visibility of diversity.
Furthermore, we regularly review our internal processes – from recruitment to career development – to reduce discrimination and promote diversity at all levels. Our commitment is complemented by external partnerships with which we advance diversity throughout the industry.
