About Us/ What We Stand For As a Diverse Company

Gleiss Lutz places great importance on ensuring that all employees – regardless of nationality, origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, or identity – feel comfortable and enjoy working with us. We are convinced that only in an environment of appreciation, acceptance, and mutual trust, where openness, diversity, and inclusion are lived daily, can all employees reach their full potential and can we as a firm achieve our goals together. Gleiss Lutz stands for a discrimination-free work environment. Discrimination against employees based on nationality, origin, gender, age, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, identity, or any other reason is impermissible and will not be tolerated by us. The same applies to (sexual) harassment.

Rainbow Career Services are important to us because…

We are passionate about diversity and inclusion. For us, Rainbow Day is not just an event, but it allows us to put our values into practice. Furthermore, we see the event as an opportunity to network, exchange knowledge, and increase the visibility of individuals who identify with the LGBTQ+ community in society. By actively participating in this event, we not only want to show our support, but also contribute to creating an environment where diversity is valued and promoted. Rainbow Day is an important step for us towards a more open and just society, and we look forward to working with other companies on this important mission.

We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:

- Woman in Business – Initiative: An internal network for female lawyers that offers internal and external lectures and networking events. It consists of three pillars and is aimed at junior female lawyers, our own female lawyers, business lawyers, and female clients. All events are tailored to the needs of the target groups. - Employee network „UNIQUE“: An initiative by and for the LGBTQ+ community within Gleiss Lutz. The group meets - Various events and internal activities on the topic of diversity for all employees, as well as specifically in the context of onboarding for lawyers. - Participation in recruiting fairs aimed at increasing visibility for potential employees from the LGBTQ+ community. - Signing of the Charter of Diversity.
