Theresien Children and Youth Services and St. Joseph House e.V.

About Us/ What We Stand For As a Diverse Company

Diversity is not just a buzzword for us, but an integral part of our daily work. Especially in youth welfare, we encounter a wide range of life plans, biographies, and needs – among the children, adolescents, and families, as well as within our team. We are convinced: Different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger and enrich our work. Therefore, we understand diversity as a genuine success factor. Our goal is to create a place of work and life where everyone feels seen, respected, and welcome – and where people enjoy working, contributing, and developing.

Rainbow Career Services are important to us because…

… we want to consciously develop ourselves as an institution. Diversity is an ongoing process for us, not a finished state. We see Rainbow Career Services as a great opportunity to further sharpen our existing attitude, incorporate new impulses, and position ourselves in an even more diverse and open way. This is not about external image, but about real change and support in everyday work.

We are already implementing the following diversity measures in our company:

We actively shape diversity. A regularly convening Diversity Working Group brings together topics, ideas, and suggestions from the team and drives developments forward. In addition, we conduct employee surveys to take feedback, needs, and perspectives seriously. We are currently developing a guideline for gender-neutral language to act sensitively and appreciatively in terms of language as well. By signing the Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter), we have clearly affirmed our self-understanding externally and internally. Furthermore, we regularly inform our employees via email about current topics, developments, and impulses related to diversity. Our newsletter also continuously covers various diversity topics and keeps the subject present in everyday work life.
