Skilled worker power plant (m/f/d)

The electricity and heat generation division is responsible for the operation and maintenance management of all SWM energy generation plants. The extensive plant fleet includes fossil-fired combined heat and power plants and peak load heating plants as well as renewable plants for the use of hydropower, geothermal energy, biogas, wind power and solar energy.

The main focus of the job is the support and operation of the energy generation plants.
We are looking to recruit several employees for the North and South CHP plants as soon as possible.

The position is initially limited to two years and serves to qualify as a certified power plant operator IHK (m/f/d). A permanent employment contract is possible upon successful completion of the training.

Desired additional qualifications

You will have completed technical vocational training, e.g. electrician, electronics technician, electrical systems fitter, mechatronics technician or industrial mechanic and very good German language skills, as well as a willingness to gain further qualifications as a power plant technician with the option of subsequent training as a power plant foreman, depending on your aptitude and willingness to perform.
