The Lord Mayor of the City of Munich, Dieter Reiter, will address a personal greeting to all visitors and companies on site at 10:00 a.m., thus officially opening the event.

The new normal? Why we still need to talk about queer issues in the world of work!

Rainbow flags, customized marketing and loud trucks at CSDs: the corporate world can look pretty colorful and that's a good thing. Nevertheless, we need to keep talking about queer inclusion in the world of work! In this talk by PROUT AT WORK, you will learn some basic facts about the situation of queer people in the workplace and why the topic of queer inclusion is relevant for individuals, organizational cultures, and ultimately business.

Enea Cocco, Consultant at Prout At Work

Young queers on the job

On this panel, we want to shed light on queerness as a cross-cutting social issue and ask ourselves together how we can do justice to the intersectional diversity within the LGBTQIA+ community in the workplace. Do boomers, millennials and Gen Z really have such different values and needs? Where are we in terms of corporate culture(s) and where do we want to go? How can we work together in an appreciative way, learn from each other across generations and unite in solidarity? To discuss this, we have invited panelists who bring very different perspectives to the topic. We are looking forward to it:

In his keynote, Max Appenroth invites you to explore the diversity that is often underutilized in companies! Max will show why queer employees are a unique and enriching resource for organizations. Their diverse perspectives and experiences not only enrich the corporate culture, but also open up new ways to solve complex challenges and access new markets. On the other hand, Max also talks about how queer employees demand precisely this space for development and how, in the end, both sides can only gain from the strengthening of diverse talents!
