More on this

Rainbow Day Hamburg takes place on 07/09/2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

On the website, the exhibitors for individual events and their company profiles will be published in good time before the Rainbow Days. Who is looking for which specialist area?

The Rainbow Days have a very important thematic focus, as they are about people and the individual characteristics of one's personality. Often, companies are simultaneously looking for new employees within their industries, meaning a law firm, for example, more in legal and tax advisory, or a software company for programming.

The larger the companies are, the broader their needs are, and therefore the greater the opportunities to seize my own chances within my field of training.

We therefore recommend that everyone view the company profiles in advance of the events and thus prepare for an exchange.

Exchange meets knowledge meets networking

Moderation: Queer Networking

Rainbow-colored logos during Pride Month or colorful marketing campaigns by companies are increasingly suspected of being „rainbow washing.“ We speak with independent experts and company representatives about how I, as a queer person job hunting, can tell if a potential employer is truly queer-friendly.

The guests:

– Kirstin Hahne, Diversity Manager at bonprix
– Kornelia Liebert, Wirtschaftsweiber Hamburg
– Sebastian Krug, Founder & CEO Rainbow Day
- Juli Avemark (she/they), „READ“ Anti-Discrimination Counseling Center

The Rainbow Union North Network is a platform that brings together Queer and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) ambassadors from various companies and organizations in Northern Germany. Our goal is to strengthen the community and exchange between these committed individuals and to promote cooperation across company boundaries. Together, we want to create a foundation for future collaboration through topic-based discussions and inspiring insights – because we believe that we are stronger together!

Following the Hamburg Rainbow Day, the next network meeting will take place on-site Rainbow Union North Network instead. Pre-registration is free for company representatives here: Free Ticket Rainbow Day - Rainbow Day
